Did you ever fancy going on a Cycling and Tree Planting Picnic? Well, now's your chance.
To tie in with Crann's Autumn Festival (Féile Shamhna na gCrann), members of DCC will be going for an afternoon spin, bringing horse-chestnut and oak saplings with them, to a place that the trees will call home. As well as being a day out in the fresh air, participants will learn all about the planting and maintenance of trees and enjoy a healthy picnic. The date and venue have still to be decided but will be some Saturday (or Sunday) in November.
